Dead Count
You live behind a sealed door. Outside it, the facility is still running its automated systems long after the people stopped being able to use them. A pathogen went through the place and left the infected unable to think straight, so the supply dispensers check you before they hand anything over. Answer the terminal, take the supplies, get home.
There is no timer on screen. The clocks are broken. What still works is the alarm pulse, one tick a second, so the only way to know how long you have been out is to count them yourself.
Each day the quota is higher than the last. Your mask holds less air than it did, and patching it costs supplies you would rather spend on the quota. The dispensers that are actually online move around, so yesterday's route is no help.
How It Plays
- Find active dispensers and pass the terminal's assessment to release supplies.
- Make the day's quota and get back behind the seal before your filter gives out.
- Expect harder puzzles, a higher quota, and less time with every day you survive.
- Listen carefully! The tick is your clock, and it isn't the only thing out there.
Controls:
- WASD move
- Shift sprint
- F flashlight
- E interact
Headphones recommended. The only clock in this game is a sound.
You will not survive your first few runs. That's the shape of it.
